Being a member
I will give accurate information in my application and keep my contact details current. I will keep my account password to myself.
I will use RISE systems honestly. I will never check in, log service, or submit a check-in for something that did not happen, for myself or for anyone else.
How I will treat people
I will follow the RISE Constitution, Bylaws, and Code of Conduct. I will treat every scholar, officer, and partner with respect. I will not take part in harassment, discrimination, retaliation, or hazing of any kind, including in house traditions.
Dues
Dues are $20 per semester for my first two semesters of membership, or $35 if I pay for both at once, and $10 per semester from my third semester on. Summer and semesters on leave are free.
There are no full waivers. If paying on time is hard, I can ask the Director of Finances for a payment plan. The reason is handled in person and never stored.
The website never takes payments. I will pay only through the instructions RISE gives me.
Refunds
If I withdraw before I am placed in a house, I get a full refund. After placement, dues are not refundable. If I am on a payment plan when I withdraw, the plan stops and I owe nothing more.
Becoming active
Submitting this application does not make me an active member. The Director of Communications first verifies my enrollment; then my dues are recorded. I become active when both are done.
To take a leave, ask about participation, or leave RISE, I can contact the Director of Communications.
RISE records the version of each agreement you accept, your typed name, and when. If this text changes, you will be asked to read and accept the new version.
