The cookies we use
sessionid: keeps you signed in. It ends when you sign out, or after two weeks.
csrftoken: protects forms so another website cannot submit them as you.
messages: shows one-time notices, such as "Your proposal was sent", and then disappears.
rise_visit: a random value, set only if you send a concern. It limits how many concerns one browser can send in an hour, and expires after an hour. It is never linked to your name or account.
Saved in your browser, not sent to us
rise-theme: remembers whether you picked light or dark mode.
What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no analytics or tracking cookies, and no cookies that follow you to other websites.
The site's fonts load from Google Fonts. Google receives your browser's network address when a page loads, as with any website that uses Google Fonts.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Without the sessionid and csrftoken cookies, you cannot sign in or send forms.
